I was born and raised in small town Minnesota, where I learned to appreciate the little things: Flowers blooming after harsh winters, the way the sun shines off of a vase, a smile on a stranger's face. I took the feelings that these little things caused and I ran with them, putting them into images for others to feel.

I began by drawing. Then I started painting. I did some ceramics. Then, when I started college, I got a degree in Art. The rest is history.

Today, I work in a small studio at home between odd jobs. My pets keep me company, and my family gives me feedback. Painting is my primary medium, but I also love illustrating in both marker and digital programs
